Zeon Lee scored twice as Ministry of Transport and Works beat National Lotteries Authority 4-nil at the weekend in the Senior Division of the Digicel/St. Vincent Brewery/Aeropost Breakaway Firm’s Invitational Football Championship at the Grammar School Playing Field.
The other goals for Ministry of Transport and Works were scored by Wilran Joseph and they benefitted from an own goal from National Lotteries Authority.
In other Senior Division matches, Central Water and Sewage Authority and Edwin D Laynes and Sons played to a one all draw. Jalene Miller scored for Central Water and Sewage Authority, while the goal for Edwin D Laynes and Sons was scored by Keon Ollivierre.
Dwayne Hewitt scored for Toni Stores Combined as they drew 1-1 with Coreas/Hazells. The goal for Coreas/Hazells was scored by Reece Jack.
And, Gibson’s Building Supplies won by default over Courts SVG.
In the Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-15 Division,Lasron Craigg’s lone goal was enough to give A-DARE a 1-nil win over Owia.
Central Shooters secured a 3-1 victory over Campdonia Chelsea. For Central Shooters, Troy Prince scored (2) and Zedane Simmons (1). Avanzini Victory scored the goal for Campdonia Chelsea.
Also in the Under-15 Division, Largo Height played to a one all draw with United Strikers. Jahiema Kirby netted for Largo Height and Kareem Cornwall scored for United Strikers and System Three (1) won by default over Layou.
Today, in the Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-15 Division, Campdonia Chelsea will meet System Three (2) from 3:30 pm and CK Greaves will oppose Ministry of Education in the Senior Division.
