Persons interested in becoming involved in the generation of electricity from alternative sources, are being encouraged to conduct the necessary research to ensure the feasibility of their investment.
The advice came from Local Technician, Rene King, while discussing issues relating to alternative energy on the Views on Issues programme aired on NBC radio on Sunday.
Mr. King, who has been experimenting with solar and wind energy generation for 3 years, said while the initial start-up costs are high, the systems could prove to be feasible over the long term.
Mr. King said storage plays a major role in ensuring the success of any energy project.
