Promotions Manager at the Richmond Vale Academy, Austin Caine, is encouraging Vincentians to use more naturally produced foods in an effort to ensure healthier lifestyles.
He was speaking on NBC’s Views On issues programme on Sunday, which focused on the topic: ‘Green Living’.
The Richmond Vale Academy is a non-profit organization located at Richmond, with the aim of educating persons on ways to adapt to the challenges of climate change and related activities.
Mr. Caine said the use of chemicals in food production is having an adverse effect on human health.
And, Teacher at the Richmond Vale Academy, Selwyn Patterson, said the institution utilizes all natural techniques at the farm level of food production.
