The Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers’ cooperative Credit Union Julian Jack has appealed for more to be done to save the nation’s males.
He made this appeal during the Annual Bursary and “A” Level Awards Ceremony hosted by the organization on Tuesday.
Mr. Jack said many people are of the view that females are outperforming males and taking over the society.
He said while this may be the case, there is always a need for males to be included in the developmental process to strike a balance in the country.
He is therefore appealing to parents to play a major role in encouraging their male children to strive for excellence.
Mr. Jack is also reminding mothers of the great influence they have on their male children and he is appealing to all mothers to ensure that their sons do not stray.
Ten bursaries and two scholarships were officially presented to members of the Credit Union and their children, during the event.
