A three-day workshop on Tecno-preneurship and Robotics, organized by the Science and Technology Unit in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wraps up here today.
The sessions targeted Teachers and Youth Workers, who were taught about robotics and its application to real world problems, and also how to plan and conduct a science and technology camp for students and young people.
The participants will then conduct a camp at the Thomas Saunders Secondary School from tomorrow, for about 60 students between the ages of eight and sixteen.
The camp will expose the students to the same concepts and content related to techno-preneurship and robotics. The students will be working together in groups on their chosen projects.
The week’s activities will culminate this Friday August 29th with a closing ceremony and a display of projects, as well as a showcase of science and technology kits.
The ceremony will be held at the Peace Memorial Hall.
