An appeal has been made for more to be done by parents throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines to ensure a safe and environment for their children to grow and develop their talents.
This call was made by Chief Executive Officer of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers’ Cooperative Credit Union (SVGTCCU), Julian Jack during today’s annual Bursary and A’ Level awards ceremony for ten bursaries and two scholarships to its members and their children.
Mr. Jack reiterated that the SVGTCCU remains committed to the educational development of every Vincentians and he appealed to the nation’s parents to assist in this regard.
Meanwhile President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers’ Cooperative Credit Union (SVGTCCU), Dwight Lewis is appealing to the recipients of the bursaries and scholarships to successfully complete their studies.
He also petitioned them to return to St. Vincent and the Grenadines upon completion of their studies to assist with the country’s development.
