The Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment, is appealing for a National collaborative effort to contain the outbreak of chikungunya here.
The appeal came from Chairman of the National Surveillance Committee in the Ministry of Health Dr. Rosmond Adams, during NBC’s Face to Face programme.
Dr. Adams said the spread of Chikungunya is still proving difficult to control, and he has asked for the full support of this nation’s public to help in the matter of containing the disease.
He stressed that if all sectors do not join together then the disease will continue to spread.
