A number of airlines are continuing to express interest in coming to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, once the International Airport at Argyle is complete.
That’s according to Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Cecil Mckie, who spoke on the issue, during a recent tour by Members of Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, to the site of the International Airport at Argyle.
Minister Mckie said some of the airlines are coming from the United Kingdom and some from the United States. And he said local authorities are continuing to hold discussion with those airlines which have expressed an interest in coming here.
Minister Mckie also said St. Vincent and the Grenadines is continuing to receive a number of international awards, and he tourism sector will be using these positive developments to promote the destination.
