The National Omni Bus Association (NOBA), will convene a meeting of its members, bus owners and drivers, at the Arnos Vale, Sports Complex this Sunday 24th at 3pm.
A release from NOBA says an official of the South Leeward Highway Rehabilitation Project will be on hand to provide an update on the project.
The Association is appealing to van operators using the South Leeward Highway to make a special effort to attend Sunday’s session.
It pointed out that the South Leeward Highway Project is a 21 month event that will have a significant impact on the operations of Omnibus operators.
President of the Association Anthony Bacchus, says he is hoping for a good turn out on Sunady, and that the minibus operators grasp the opportunity to voice their concerns
The National Omni Bus Association is the sole entity recognized by the Transport Board to negotiate on behalf of Omni bus operators.
The Association is over twenty years old.
