Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Cecil Mckie is encouraging Vincentians and other investors to start purchasing lands and putting things in place now, in preparation for the completion of the Argyle International Airport.
He made this call during a recent tour by Members of Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, to the site of the International Airport at Argyle.
Minister Mckie said in the aspect of Culture it has been highlighted that craft items are too large for visitors and returning Nationals to purchase when travelling abroad.
He is therefore encouraging craft makers to create smaller objects while mass producing to increase their potential profits.
Minister Mckie said many vacant lands are available for purchase surrounding the airport and many people have the opportunity to set up their businesses to benefit so that they can maximize their benefits.
