A local Historian has pointed to the need for a more accurate records to be developed of the history of St. Vincent and the grenadines.
The call from Dr. Adrian Fraser, during NBC’s Views On Issues programme on Sunday, which examined the topic: Emancipation: What it means for us as Vincentians.
Dr. Fraser pointed out that most accounts of this nation’s history came from the Europeans and there are many aspects of it which have been lost over the years
Dr. Fraser also noted that there is so much confusion in relation to the history passed down through the years, that many people confuse the Garifuna people with the Calinago.
