The Ministry of Transport and Works is expected to begin work to install a number of Bailey Bridges across the country within the next two months.
Chief Engineer Brent Bailey said temporary bridges will be placed in communities where the bridges were damaged during recent natural disasters, including the floods of December 2013.
Mr. Bailey said the Government has acquired two sets of Bailey Bridges which will be used for these projects.
He said four of these Bridges will be installed by professionals from Ecuador who have already been conducting site visits around the country.
Mr. Bailey said the team from Ecuador will be working on three bridges in North Leeward.
