The Ministry of Education has expressed sorrow at the passing of Educator Grocina Richards.
A release from the ministry says Mrs Richards joined the teaching profession in 1982 as a Probationary Assistant Teacher at the Lowmans Windward Anglican School.
The Ministry says in 1987, Mrs. Richards graduated from the St. Vincent Teachers College as a Qualified Assistant Teacher.
She was appointed Head Teacher at the Tourama Government School in 2008, a position which she held until her death yesterday, Thursday August 14th.
The Minister of Education and the Staff of the Ministry of Education expressed deepest condolences to Mrs. Richards’ husband and children, her immediate relatives and friends, the Staff and Students of the Tourama Government School, and the Head Teachers Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
