A Lindon James XI had better of a Miles Bascombe XI in a drawn 2nd Trial match at the Arnos Vale (1) Playing Field here this week in preparation for the Senior Windward Islands Cricket Tournament later this year.
Casmond Walters 55, Marvin Small 55 runs each, Kieron Cottoy 36 and Lindon James 22 spearheaded the batting in Lindon James X1’s first of 212 for 8.
The successful bowlers for Miles Bascombe XI were Asif Hooper 3 for 49 and Kesrick Williams 2 for 24.
Seon Sween 36, Salvan Browne 35 and Sunil Ambris 22 led the scoring for Miles Bascombe XI who were dismissed for 139 as Kieron Cottoy took 5 for 23 and Casmond Walters captured 2 for 37.
Lindon James XI were 90 for 2 when the match ended. Deron Greaves 59 not out. Marvin Small scored 26.
