Local Pharmacist, Steve Millington, said the SVG Pharmaceutical Association is committed to ensuring the availability of pharmaceuticals to service the needs of Vincentians.
He was speaking on NBC’s Face to Face programme last week, as part of activities to observe Pharmacy Week, under the theme: “Your Health And You – The Importance Of Taking Prescription Medication “.
Mr. Millington said is appealing for the cooperation of Vincentians to ensure proper use of medicinal stocks in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Meanwhile, Mr. Millington is encouraging Pharmacists to ensure that their credentials are properly displayed to customers.
Mr. Millington said Pharmacy Week, which ran from August 3rd to 9th, was intended to raise public awareness about the roles of Pharmacists and the importance of pharmaceuticals.
