The organization Yuga Cure says their Annual Garifuna Retrieval Workshop at the Central Leeward Secondary School at Peters Hope is progressing well thus far.
The workshop which commenced on Tuesday August 5th and will climax on August 22nd.
Executive Director of Yuga Cure, Trish St. Hill said they were targeting one hundred children to participate in the activity but they currently have more than one hundred and twenty.
She said the children have been learning a lot about the Garifuna Heritage and Culture thus far.
Miss St. Hill said they expect the number of participants to surpass one hundred and fifty by the end of today’s session.
