Ethian John scored (4) goals and there was (1) each from Keno Matthews and Teran Edwards as Greggs FC thumped Platinum Boys 6-nil yesterday in the closing match of the Hairoun Beer/D&J Auto Rental and Parts Highlanders 9-a-side Football Championship at the Richland Park Oval.
Pride and Joy (1) with 26 points emerged the 2014 champions, second Greggs FC with 24 points and COMPUTEC Cane End 21 points.
The curtains will come down on the Championship on Sunday with an exhibition match between champions Pride and Joy (1) and Brownstown Most Wanted of Georgetown, followed by the Presentation Ceremony.
