Vincentians are being encouraged to explore the various business opportunities in solid waste management, as part of the ongoing thrust to ensure a litter-free environment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The advice came from Solid Waste Manager at the Solid Waste Management Unit in the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA), Winsbert Quow.
Mr. Quow said several individuals and businesses are already capitalizing on waste disposal opportunities here.
Mr. Quow also said a number of Vincentians have been able to supplement their incomes through recycling initiatives.
