Thirty five children will receive full scholarships and two will receive assistance, when the Police Force hosts its Annual Scholarship Fund presentation ceremony this week.
The recipients are children of Police Officers, who were successful in the recent sitting of the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment Examinations.
The Police Scholarship Fund was started under the leadership of former and first native Commissioner of Police, Colonel Anderson, now deceased who headed the Police Force between 1954 and 1970.
Acting Commissioner of Police Reynold Hadaway will deliver remarks at the ceremony, while Barrister at Law and a former recipient of the Police Scholarship Ranelle Roberts, will deliver the feature address.
The ceremony is set to take place this Thursday August 7th at the Old Montrose Police Station, from four in the afternoon.
