The Ministry of Agriculture will launch project today, which is intended to assist Farmers whose fields were affected by the floods of December 2013.
A release from the Ministry says the project will be carried out in collaboration with the Mustique Charitable Trust and The
Richmond Vale Academy.
The release says the project will see Farmers who were affected by the December 2013 floods receive replacement plants of tree crops, to include fruit and food trees that were lost in the storm.
This is part of the ongoing recovery effort by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Ministry of Agriculture will officially launch the project at the Curator’s House in the Botanic Gardens in Kingstown from ten this morning.
