The widespread distribution of laptops to students and the provision of internet services at schools across the country, is expected to provide students with immediate access to online educational resources.
That’s according to Minister responsible for Information and Communications Technology, ICT, Camillo Gonsalves, as he addressed this week’s launch of a one-month ICT training programme for Secondary School Teachers.
Minister Gonsalves said this massive ICT thrust by the government has provided students with a much needed advantage in the classroom environment.
Minister Gonsalves also said the training programme will equip teachers with the tools needed to take the learning experience to a higher level.
