Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has appealed for the co-operation of the public, during the period of construction work on the upgrading of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
The Prime Minister made the appeal, during a signing ceremony held yesterday to mark the signing of five civil works contracts with the European Union to facilitate the modernization of the health sector.
The contracts were signed under the 10th European Development Fund (EDF) programme, which is valued at 34-millin EC-dollars.
The Prime Minister noted that there will be some inconvenience to the public, while work is being done on the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, under the first phase of the project.
Under phase one of the project, extensive work will be carried out at both the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and the Mental Health Centre
Work on both projects is expected to commence by the end of August this year.
