A two-day workshop focusing on the Caricom Reciprocal Agreement on Social Security will open here today.
The workshop is being held ahead of the 25th meeting of Heads of Social Security in Caricom this week, which is to be hosted from Wednesday by the National Insurance Services of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Executive Director of the NIS, Reginald Thomas says the workshop will examine the Agreement, with a view towards providing recommendations for the meeting of heads of Social Security
Mr. Thomas said the workshop will be held under the theme: Move and Don’t Lose, and the recommendations will be discussed at the meeting which begins on Wednesday.
He said delegates from several countries in the region are expected to begin arriving here tomorrow for the meeting.
