The National Commission on Crime Prevention NCCP has once again organized the Pan Against Crime Summer Program scheduled to begin on Monday July 21st, 2014.
This year, besides learning to play the Pan, the children will be exposed to interesting, teachable moments in the areas of Good Citizens, Human Trafficking and Breaking the Silence on Child Abuse.
The Summer Programme caters for children nine 9 years of age and older; and will be conducted three days per week. It is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12 noon, at various locations throughout the state.
The Programme will be in full effect simultaneously in ten 10 steel pan band rooms in nine 9 different villages and towns throughout our country.
The facilitators would be drawn from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, the Ministry of Education and the ministry of National Reconciliation among Other individuals.
A Certificate of participation will be awarded to the most consistent pupil who adhered to the rules/guidelines and completed the programme.
