A number of students from across St. Vincent and the Grenadines are involved in the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Summer Vacation Programmes.
According to a release from the Police, these programs are being held as the organization strives to continue initiatives that alleviate factors which create risk and negative social behaviors among youths.
The programs are being hosted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard, the Police Band, the Police Youth Clubs and the Pan Against Crime Committee.
The Police Force kicked off the first phase Coast Guard Summer Program yesterday at the Coast Guard Base in Calliaqua.
It will be held in three one week phases over the periods July 14th to 19, July 20th to August 2nd and August 11th to 16th.
The Police Band Summer Program will be staged from July 21st to August 22nd while the Police Youth Club’s Annual Summer Camp will take place from July 20th to July 28th at the Pamelus Burke Primary School in Byera.
The Pan Against Crime committee is also preparing to stage its Annual Summer Programme from Monday July 21st to August 15th.
