The Rapid Alert System for Information Exchange on Dangerous Goods is the focus of a workshop organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consumer Affairs.
Persons who are involved in Trading in Goods are attending the workshop at the Haddon Hotel in Kingstown.
The workshop is intended to boost consumer protection and confidence and improve the quality of products entering and trading on the regional market.
In his address at the opening ceremony this morning, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nathaniel Williams said the time has come for the National Consumer Association to work towards the protection of consumers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
