Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has responded to a letter from Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace about issues relating to the former Registrar of the High Court.
The Prime Minister in his response said that the Opposition Leader continues to make wild and unfounded allegations of official corruption against the government.
He added that the Opposition Leader has distorted the facts and displayed a reckless disregard for the Constitution and law of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This he said is being done on the altar of political opportunism grounded in a tattered political partisanship, stoked by an unbridled lust for power.
The Opposition Leader had written to the Prime Minister asking questions about the sudden resignation of the Registrar of the High Court, Tamara Gibson Marks.
He said it is critical that Dr. Gonsalves clears the air and take the necessary legal action, “given the current climate and widely expressed concern about corruption in this country”.
