Jules Snagg of St. Vincent and the Grenadines lost to Colin Ramasra of Trinidad and Tobago 9-11, 11-5, 6-11, 7-11 at the weekend in the St. Lucia Men’s Open Squash Tournament in St. Lucia.
Vincentian Kevin Hannaway defeated Charlie Sonson of St. Lucia 11-9, 11-5, 11-2 in the 3th place play-off, while ESH-WAN Adams beat Stephen Lamazzi of Canada 8-11, 11-4, 11-8, 7-11, 11-8 in the 5th place play-off, while another Vincentian and Omari Wilson also of St. Vincent and the Grenadines beat Randolph Khan of St. Lucia 13-11, 11-9, 11-6 in the 12th place play-off.
Meanwhile, Hannaway and Snagg will now focus on final preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Hannaway, Snagg and Bailey will compete in the Singles. Hannaway will pair up with James Bentick in one of the two Doubles pair while Snagg will pair up with Jason Doyle.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Squash is sending its largest number of Athletes ever to compete in this Commonwealth Games.
