An official of the local chapter of the Caribbean HIV&AIDS Alliance CHAA is advising Carnival patrons to exercise sound judgement and restraint as they take part in the Vincy Mas 2014 celebrations.
The advice came from local Programme Officer for the CHAA) Florence Olatunji during NBC’s Face to Face programme.
Miss Olatunji said it is important that persons limit their use of alcohol and other substances, which could severely impact their ability make wise choices, particularly in relation to sexual activities.
Miss Olatunji also noted that proper storage of condoms is important in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
