The delegates who will be competing in the 2014 Miss Carival Pageant will be involved in a Meet the Media event this morning.
The Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation says the delegates will first attend Breakfast Ceremony at the Young Island Resort, which would include a briefing, sashing, exchange of gifts among contestants and presentation of gift baskets by the Committee.
The ceremony will be attended by Minister of Tourism Sports and Culture, Cecil Mckie Chairman of the CDC Dennis Ambrose and members of the technical team.
Following the Breakfast Ceremony members of the media will meet with the contestants and their chaperones from ten this morning.
Ten countries, including host country St. Vincent and the Grenadines, will compete for the prestigious Miss Carival title this Friday July 4th.

Miss Antigua/Barbuda-Raynel Carroll; Miss Barbados-Zhane Padmore; Miss Dominica-Francine Baron; Miss Guyana-Kiswana Jefford; Miss Jamaica-Danielle Black; Miss Martinique-Alexandra Chastel; Miss St. Kitts/Nevis-Kaeve Armstrong; Miss St. Lucia-Amy Stephen; Miss Venezuela-Genesis Valera Seijas; and Miss St. Vincent and the Grenadines-Shadeisha George
The reigning Miss Carival is Leslassa Armour Shillingford of Dominica.
