The Richmond Vale Academy is currently preparing to wrap up a program for local farmers dubbed the Climate Compliance Conference.
Facilitator of the program and Teacher at the Richmond Vale Academy, Selwyn Patterson said the program which climaxes this Friday runs for six months.
He said during this six month period local farmers are given a one-month scholarship through which they are educated on a number of techniques through which they can promote food security and sustainable living.
One participant in the Climate Compliance Conference, Local Farmer Benjamin Crichton said the program is very informative and he is appealing to other farmers to get involved in the next round of the program which begins during the month of August.
