The distribution of laptops to Secondary School Students began today.
Students from five Secondary Schools will be the first to receive their laptops under the Government’s “One lap top per child” initiative.
The Minister responsible for ITC, Camillo Gonsalves, visited the West St. George secondary school for the start of the rollout process at 9:30 this morning.
The other schools receiving laptops today are the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua; Mountain View Adventist Academy; Adelphi Secondary School and Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia.
The presentation ceremony will continue tomorrow (Wednesday) at the
St. Clair Dacon Secondary School; George Stephens Senior Secondary
North Union Secondary; Georgetown Secondary; Sandy Bay Secondary;
Bequia Seventh Day Adventist and Bequia Community High School
Parents are required to be present to sign for the delivery of the laptops.
