Over seven hundred students from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College will graduate this week.
The College will host its Fifth Annual Graduation and Awards Ceremony at the Victoria Park on Tuesday beginning at 2pm.
A release from the Ministry of Education says 736 students will graduate after completing various programs at the College.
Also at this year’s graduation ceremony, will be the first Cohort of Full-time Associate Degree Students from the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies as well as a Cohort from the Evening Program at the Division of Technical and Vocational Education.
Caricom Youth Ambassador and Graduate Teacher at Emmanuel High School, Mesopotamia, Tamira Browne will deliver the Feature Address.
Addresses will also come from Chairman of the Community College Board of Directors Dr. Simone Keizer-Beache; Acting Director of Colleges Laura Browne and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Nicole Bonadie-Baker.
The Graduation Ceremony will be held under the theme “Education Unlocks Potential, Dreams Become Reality”.
