The Central Water and Sewerage Authority, CWSA, says it is continuing to ration water in a number of communities across the island, as the water levels remain low at the three main water sources.
Public Relations and Marketing Manager, Joan Ryan says the situation at the Dalaway, Majorca and Montreal intakes has not improved.
Speaking on NBC’s Face to Face programme this morning, Miss Ryan said the rainfall experienced in recent weeks has not affected the water levels.
Miss Ryan says the situation has now reached a critical level.
