A Steering Committee is now in place to carry forward the process of establishing a Vincentian business organization in the United States
A release from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Diaspora Committee of New York says the committee was appointed, following a successful meeting of Vincentian Business persons held last Saturday June 7th in New York.
The session was convened by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Diaspora Committee of New York, in partnership with the Consul General’s Office in New York and the Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Organizations USA.
About thirty persons attended the meeting, which was held in Brooklyn, at the Friends of Crown heights Educational Centre.
Apart from establishing a Steering Committee, the meeting discussed the need for a Vincentian Business organization in the United States and heard the views of Vincentian business persons in the United States.
The Steering Committee comprises: Vaughn Toney, Colin Liverpool, Atiba Weza, Joanne Legair, Curlina Edwards, Judy Marksman, Michelson Mclean and Andre Bailey.
