The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, will host a three day Taxonomy training workshop here from today.
The Ministry says this is in an attempt to control the spread of new and reemerging vector borne diseases, namely Chikungunya and Dengue.
The Workshop takes place from today to Wednesday, in collaboration with the with Pan American Health Organization (PAHO),
The first two days will be held at the conference room of the HIV AIDS/ STI Prevention and Control building, located at Old Montrose, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The final day will be held at the conference room of the Fisheries Division, located in Kingstown, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
