The Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment will receive a quantity of Medical Supplies for the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital tomorrow from the International Consortium of Caribbean Professionals, USA Chapter.
The Ministry says the donation is being made, to assist in replenishing supplies, following the December 2013 floods.
In response to the call for assistance following the floods, the Agency shipped three barrels and one box to NEMO, containing personal and medical items including Adult and Baby diapers, clothing, and toiletries.
A special presentation of the adult diapers will be made to the Ministry of Health tomorrow
The presentation will take place at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital at two tomorrow afternoon.
The Agency says it intends to work very closely with Governments and Businesses in the Caribbean to find ways to deal with the challenges caused by global warming and other environmental issues and concerns.
