The Ministry of Transport and Works is making progress with work to reduce the vulnerability of flooding along the banks of the Buccament River, in wake of the natural disaster in December 2014.
This was confirmed by Minister of Transport and Works Julian Francis, as he responded to a question in Parliament last week.
Minster Francis said work has been ongoing at that location since December last year.
Minister Francis said significant work has been done to ensure the safety of residents of that area.
