Lowmans Hill resident Shadeisha George – Miss Lime – was crowned Miss SVG 2014 at the Victoria Park on Saturday night.
Apart from winning the 80-thousand dollar University Scholarship, Ms. George also won the Best Talent and Best Evening wear titles.
Miss Mustique Company Limited, Karla Gellizeau, was adjudged 1st runner up and also took the Best swimwear title.
The second runner up position went to Shacjell Bobb. She also won the awards of Miss photogenic, Most Community spirited and Best interview.
Miss Bobb was also awarded for Training Seminar attendance.
The Miss Congeniality award went to Miss Super-6, Vanika Hope.
The 59th Queen of Carnival Pageant was held under the theme “A Combination of Passion and Brilliance.
Meanwhile … Miss SVG 2014 Shadeisha George says she is elated to win the Pageant.
And … in his address at the start of the pageant, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Luke Browne, said pageants like the Miss SVG Show helps in the overall development on the contestants.
