The Activities include an Open Day at the Belair, Greggs and Stubbs Health Centres today; a Nutrition Symposium and Fair at the Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday; and a National Secondary Schools Nutrition Quiz Competition on Thursday at Frenches House.
Vincentians have again been urged to pay attention to their diet so that they remain healthy.
The encouragement comes from Minister of Health Wellness and the Environment Clayton Burgin, during his Radio Address to mark the start of Nutrition Awareness Week.
The Ministry of Health is hosting a series of activities to observe the Week, under the theme: “Healthy Eating and Active Living: Good Nutrition within Your Budget”.
Minister Burgin the activities are also aimed at promoting the use of the National Dietary Guidelines in planning affordable, healthy and balanced meals.
