The Meeting of Parliament is continuing today with Legislators continuing debate on the Motion on Reparations Effort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Motion was tabled by Government Senator Jomo Thomas in Parliament last Thursday.
The Motion calls for Reparations Claim to be lodged within the framework of the ten-point Reparations Agenda adopted by CARICOM.
Senator Thomas in his presentation stressed the need for Member States to actively pursue the claim for appropriate Reparations from European Nations.
