Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said residents of the Grenadine island of Mayreau are being provided with access to medical services, despite the absence of a clinic on the island.
He gave this assurance while responding to a question on the issue during yesterday sitting of parliament.
Dr. Gonsalves said several arrangements have been put in place to ensure that residents of Mayreau are afforded access to basic health services.
Dr. Gonsalves said the Mayreau Clinic is one of several medical facilities earmarked for upgraded under a capital project.
