The eight delegates who are vying for the coveted Miss SVG 2014 title will continue their busy schedule this evening ahead of Saturday’s pageant.
The contestants are Felisia Baptiste – Miss Imperial Optical; Selis Blair – Miss Metrocint General Insurance Company; Shackell Bobb – Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse; Karla Gellizeau – Miss Mustique Company Limited; Vanika Hope – Miss Super-6; Shadeisha George – Miss Lime; Tatiana Lespierre – Miss Bequia Beach Hotel and Jamilla Neverson – Miss Lotto.
Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee at the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), Cheryl Rodriguez tells NBC News that this year the eight young ladies are taking part in two dress rehearsals the first of which took place last evening to be followed by another this evening.
Mrs. Rodriguez said the contestants have been working extremely hard over the past five months to put on a great show this Saturday and she is appealing to the public to support them by attending the show at the Victoria Park.
Mrs. Rodriguez said whoever is crowned Miss SVG 2014 will be representing the country during her one year reign and she is appealing to Vincentians to support the entire cast of the show.
