Senior Forestry Supervisor, Cornelius Richards says St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to be severely affected by extreme weather conditions over the years.
Speaking during the Face to Face program aired on NBC Radio, he said thus far the country has been experiencing an exceptionally dry season.
Mr. Richards said while it rained significantly in 2013 especially on the night of Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning, the nation has since then been experiencing a harsh dry season.
Mr. Richards said while rain has been falling it is still not sufficient to keep most of the vegetation green and lush.
