The deterioration in the nutritional value of many of the foods consumed by Vincentians has been attributed to a change in farming practices over the years.
The point was made by Herbalist and Holistic Nutritionist, Dr. Jerry Haywood, during NBC’s Views On Issues programme, aired on Sunday.
Discussing the issue: Healthy Eating for Healthy Living, Dr. Haywood noted that the quality of the food being produced has declined in nutritional content.
