The Ministry of Education will conduct a series of professional development sessions to continue to improve the technological abilities of teachers.
A release from the Ministry says the rollout of the second phase of the “One Laptop per Child” initiative will begin shortly and an important task is to ensure that teachers have the necessary skills and competencies to derive maximum benefits from the programme.
To this end, a one- day workshop, dubbed the “EZ Learning Workshop” will take place next week.
The Ministry says Participants will be presented with various computers applications specific to their subject areas and will be guided on how to effectively integrate the materials into their classroom instruction.
The EZ Learning workshop is scheduled to place on Tuesday 27th May at the Murray Heights Hotel Conference Room. It will begin at 8:30 a.m.
