The series of consultations organized by the Ministry of Housing, Informal Human Settlements, Lands & Surveys and Physical Planning to discuss the Draft National Land Policy, with continue tonight in Barrouallie.
This evening’s session is set to take place at the Barrouallie Learning Resource Centre from 6pm, and will target residents from Chateaubelair to Vermont.
The next session will take place next week Tuesday May 27th in Clifton Union Island, for persons in Union Island, Canouan and Mayreau.
The final session is slated for Thursday May 29th at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown.
A National Land Policy Committee was established here in December last year, to act as the implementing agency for the Land Policy Project.
The project is aimed at achieving enhanced sustainable development in the OECS, through the formulation, adoption and implementation of comprehensive land policies.
