Five months after the December 2013 devastating floods here, the Government is said to be making steady progress with the rehabilitation programme for houses that were damaged or destroyed during the floods.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves gave an overview of work carried in this area so far, during a News Conference on Monday.
He said although the work is proceeding well, he would like to see an acceleration in the pace of construction.
The Prime Minister provided the media with details of construction work on houses in various communities.
