Dr. Thomas Injectors and CGM Gallagher Novice will contest the Final of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Co-operative Credit Union Clinchers Sports Club Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship this weekend at the Richland Park Oval after semi-final victories last weekend.
Dr. Thomas Injectors advanced to the Final after beating Better Brand Supremes by 5-wickets. The scores: 120 for 7 0ff 20-overs; Tex Franklyn 3 for 39, Dr. Thomas Injectors 121 for 6 off overs; Damion Allen 72 including seven sixes and four fours.
CGM Gallagher Novice defeated Young Strikers by 40 runs. SCORES: Novice 165 for off 20-overs; Darron Dalloway 48, Rohan Dowers 41.
Young Strikers 125 for 7 off 20-overs; Javardene Browne 39; Hyron Shallow 3 for 11.
Earlier, Young Strikers secured a six-wicket win over defending champion Gairy’s Construction Simple Boys in the last quarter-final to advance to the semi-final.
The scores: Young Strikers 93 for 4, Gairy’s Construction Simple Boys 89 for 9.
