The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Girl Guides Association will host a series of activities in observation of its centenary achievement.
This comes as the association is schedule to host “Voice, Body and Soul” a Music and Talent festival, set to take place on May 16th through 18th.
According to the association’s news release, the events will begin on Friday 16th May where the Brownies,
Guides and Rangers will compete in the Best Brownie Instrumentalist, Best Girl Guide and Ranger Instrumentalist as well as the Best Brownie Solo Singer.
The event is schedule to take place at the peace memorial hall commencing at 3:30pm.
Meantime, on Saturday 17th May, the Brownies, Guides and Rangers will compete in the Best Brownie Choral speech, Best Guide/ Ranger solo singer and best Girl Guide/ ranger dance group categories. The event will take place at the Russell’s Auditorium beginning at 6:00 pm.
The weekend’s activities will conclude on 18th May also at the Russells Auditorium, with the staging of the Best dance group competition, as well as the Best Girl Guide/ Ranger, Set Piece and Best Girl Guide/ Ranger chosen piece categories.
According to the news release, tickets can be purchased for $20.00 for a single night and $30.00 for both nights.
